Chapter 29.2
Chapter 29.2
“Your parents and siblings, the lot of them always looked down on people and treated them like dirt. I knew it from the start. Your folks are those high and mighty types, you know. A family that doesn’t even consider someone human if they didn’t graduate college. That’s your household.”
“…”
“Why would they come see their child who committed a crime?”
I’d vaguely suspected it, but it seemed Ham Yeohee was a child her parents had completely abandoned.
Somehow, I felt a little sorry for her. Perhaps it was emotional assimilation, living in someone else’s body, but I felt a pang of pity.
“Yeohee.”
“Huh? Oh?”
Park Jaeman’s demeanor had grown much more serious.
“Listen, my heart has never changed. Not even after you disappeared.”
“…”
“You were and still are the only woman for me.”
Despite the utterly soft and sweet words, I was actually flustered.
There were two problems. One, nothing about Park Jaeman – his appearance, his manner of speaking, or the fervent emotion within – appealed to me.
And the other problem, perhaps related to the first, was Deputy Ki, sitting at the desk behind me, listening to and recording every word of this entire conversation with his ballpoint pen. I was painfully aware of him.
I needlessly shifted my weight on the chair, replying vaguely.
“You did? Thank you…”
“Thank you for what? Of course.”
I glanced back. The man in his cap was calmly scribbling with his pen, showing no visible reaction.
“Listen, Jaeman… if I get out of here, can I contact you?”
“Of course!”
Ugh, couldn’t he keep his voice down?
“Come to my address. No, send me a letter with the address before you’re released. Then I’ll come pick you up.”
“No, I’ll find my own way.”
Whether I actually needed Park Jaeman was something I’d consider then. The man in front of me, however, looked at me with shining eyes, full of expectation.
To be clear, I had no intention whatsoever of getting entangled with Park Jaeman in the way he hoped. Not with that face.
Deputy Ki had already raised my standards to almost heavenly heights, so unless it was a dire emergency, I really wasn’t interested.
Just as I was forming these plans, a low, mechanical voice came from behind.
“One minute left for visitation.”
Park Jaeman, glancing past me, placed both hands on the partition.
“Yeoheeee…”
“…”
When I remained silent, he impatiently thumped the partition. Reluctantly, I placed my hand over his. The plastic felt cold against my skin. Park Jaeman looked at me with passionate eyes, as if feeling something profound from that contact.
“You only need to remember one thing.”
“…What?”
“You are my woman.”
“…”
“Visitation time is over.”
As soon as I heard the announcement, I pulled my hand away. As if on cue, I sprang to my feet.
Park Jaeman’s sticky gaze swept over me from head to toe before he nodded and rose from his seat. He exchanged a perfunctory farewell, then turned to leave with a forlorn air, only to abruptly remember something and turn back towards me.
“Yeohee!”
When I turned, Park Jaeman pulled down his trousers and underwear, together, to his knees.
“I’ll stay faithful!”
Between the dark pubic hair, something like a sea squirt dangled.
“Just as I promised you, I’ll keep my d!c@k faithful!”
What the hell was this? I froze, half-flabbergasted, half-disgusted by the sudden turn of events. Perhaps hearing the commotion, the door on the visitor’s side opened and a guard appeared.
“Yeohee! My d!c@k is still yours!”
Park Jaeman shouted at the top of his lungs, even as he was practically dragged away, pulling up his pants. After his booming shout, only quiet stillness remained in the room.
“…”
Ham Yeohee, your standards are terribly low. How could you date someone like that?
I genuinely felt sorry for Ham Yeohee. To have this face and these mounds… and to have only managed to snag a d!c@k like that.
It wasn’t just about the size of his d!c@k; somehow, Park Jaeman didn’t seem quite trustworthy. He felt unpleasant, like biting into an old, stale rock candy from a forgotten candy jar.
I’d have to rethink contacting Park Jaeman once I got out. It wouldn’t be good for Ham Yeohee either.
“7059.”
Only then did the low voice calling me bring me back to my senses.
Ah, I had to go back to my room, of course. Realizing I’d zoned out for a moment, I quickly turned, only to be blocked by a wall.
“…”
I looked up, and the man’s gaze cast a shadow over me. It had been quite a while since we’d been this close. The familiar scent of him reached my nose, and my heart pounded for various reasons.
“…S-sorry. I’ll move quickly.”
Don’t give him anything to criticize. Don’t leave any opening. The finish line was so close.
I forced a small smile, trying to act casual, and moved aside. But as I still found myself unable to escape the vicinity of the man’s broad chest, feeling flustered, an eerily chilling voice pierced my ear.
“…It seems I wasn’t the only one you sucked off.”
